You can now add live, read-only ActionableAgile® Analytics flow metrics right into your Confluence pages. This way, reports, retrospectives, status updates, and leadership summaries stay fresh without having to copy screenshots from Jira.

By putting these Integrations in Confluence, you can:

- Share key flow metrics with people who mainly use Confluence
- Use up-to-date data to help with planning, reviews, and retrospectives
- Tell clearer stories about delivery by showing past performance and work-in-progress

Each Confluence element uses the same data sets and views you already have in ActionableAgile® Analytics for Jira. So, you keep one source of truth for settings and calculations.

### Requirements & Permissions

To add and see ActionableAgile® Analytics Integrations in Confluence, you need:

- ActionableAgile® Analytics for Jira Cloud installed and set up on your Jira site
- The Jira Admin needs to head on over to **Site Settings → Connected Apps →** **ActionableAgile® Analytics**, and under the **Connections** tab select [connect] next to Confluence.
- At least one data set set up in ActionableAgile® Analytics
- Permissions in Jira & ActionableAgile® Analytics to access the data set and view you want to show
- Confluence edit permission on the page where you want to add the element

Permissions work like this:

- Confluence permissions control who can edit pages and add or set up ActionableAgile® Analytics Integrations
- Jira and ActionableAgile® Analytics permissions control who can see the data set and view, and so the chart data

A user needs both access to the Confluence page and to the data set/view in Jira to see chart data in Confluence.

> ℹ️ Remember, all Integrations in Confluence are read-only. To change filters, time ranges, or other chart settings, update the view in ActionableAgile® Analytics instead of trying to change the element in Confluence.

### Add an Element to a Confluence Page

### Configure an Element

### Viewing & Updating

Once the page is published:

- The element loads live data from ActionableAgile® Analytics and shows it in read-only form
- Viewers just need view access to the Confluence page, but must also have access to the data set and view in Jira to see the chart data
- Any changes made to the view in ActionableAgile® Analytics show up automatically in the Confluence element next time it loads

From many ActionableAgile® Analytics charts, you can click links to go to Jira and check the underlying issues. When you click a point or value, it opens a Jira view in a new tab, and your usual Jira permissions apply.

### Troubleshooting

If something looks off with an ActionableAgile® Analytics element in Confluence, check these possibilities.

### No Access to Data

- If you see a message about no access or not allowed to view data, you probably don’t have permission to the data set or view in Jira or ActionableAgile® Analytics
- Ask your Jira or ActionableAgile® Analytics admin for access if you think you should see the data

### Data set or View Deleted or Changed

- If the data set or view used by the element was deleted or renamed, the element might not load or show an error
- Edit the Confluence page, open the element’s settings, and pick a valid data set and view

### Loading Errors

- Temporary network or service issues can stop charts from loading right
- Try refreshing the page; if it still doesn’t work, your Jira Admin can check the setup in Jira.
