> #### **The Header**

> Simply the top-most section of your Group Forecast page. The Header holds important information about how your forecast is created and visualised.

> #### **The Forecast Table**

Allows you to define which columns to show in the table.
You can easily toggle on and off which columns you want displayed on the table.
If your list is too long, use the search function to help you find it! |  |

**Filters***** ***allow you to filter what is displayed on the board. You may have many items in the table and would like to only show a few, you can use the filters to help you with this action.
You can use any columns from your table and operators to filter. |

You can easily **export** your forecast and various scenarios. You can either export your forecast as a CSV or print it:

> #### **The Certainty Range **[new]

> At this point, you’ll be familiar with the tabular view of your Group Forecast, but sometimes it’s easier to visualise when work will be done than to simply read it.
>
> So, what is a **certainty range**? Well, it shows the window of dates within which your work is likely to finish, a bit like how we show your forecast in ActionableAgile® Analytics using calendar dates - it’s easier to digest.

> | You choose a **lower and an upper confidence level** (for example, 50% and 95%), and Portfolio Forecaster shows the earliest date where there’s at least a 50% chance of completion and the latest date where there’s a 95% chance. |  |
> | Your selected **confidence** (e.g. 85%) is a specific point inside this range - visualised by that percentage. |  |
> | Hovering over the Certainty Range of a specific work item will prompt a dialogue box with important information such as:
- Work Item **Name**
> - **Completion Window**
> - **Earliest** possible finishing date
> - **Latest** possible finishing date
> - **Selected** Confidence finishing date |  |

> ### **Reading Your Group Forecast**
>
> Now that you know how to change the display of your forecast, let’s take a deep dive into the forecast itself:
>

> | **Key** shows the Key of the item - it’s a clickable link that will lead you to the item in Jira. |  |
> | **Summary **displays the work item’s summary from Jira. |  |
>
> > ℹ️ **Dependencies** [new] - made visible by selecting the down arrow ↓ - shows you what that work item in particular is dependent on to finish.

> > ℹ️ Dependencies are defined by certain **Linked Work Item Types** such as [Is Blocked By] and [merged into]. You designate which Link Type you wish to count as a Dependency in Portfolio Forecaster’s Jira Admin Settings.

> > ℹ️ When you open a forecast created by another user and see items displayed like the picture (with links appearing as non-clickable and stars replacing the summary), it indicates that you lack the required permissions to access this item.

> > ℹ️ We respect the Jira permissions, so check with your Jira Admin if you have any questions.

> > ℹ️ Portfolio Forecaster will still use data that you don’t have access to in its forecast, as excluding the items might provide a less accurate forecast. You simply cannot see the details for those items.

> | **Status** displays the current status of the item. The colour matches the status categories: Blue for In Progress and Grey for Not Started. |  |

> | **Due On **shows if a due date has been entered on the Jira item, then it will show in the table. If none was entered, them it will be empty. |  |

> | The **Due On **colours match the likelihood:
[Red] is a <30% chance
[Yellow] is a between 30-49% chance
[Green] is a >50% chance | **Likelihood **displays the percentage chance of completely the number of remaining items by the due date.
 | **To Do **is** **how many items are remaining. Each number will link to the list of items in Jira.
 | **Progress **displays the initial quantity of items compared to the current remaining count.
 |

> The **Forecast** shows, based on all the configurations you have made, **when** each item should be completed by.
>
> Looking at the our example on the right:
>
> - TIS-3 has an *85% chance* of being completed *on or before December 2nd, 2025*
> - TIS-1 has an *85% chance* of being completed *on or before October 28th, 2025*
>
> > ℹ️ Remember, this is a probabilistic forecast, which means that it always includes a range and a probability! You can read more about probabilistic forecasts [here](https://www.55degrees.se/post/what-is-probabilistic-forecasting).
